9th Annual Bay Area Preschool Teacher Awards Nominations Open!

(Berkeley, CA) April 17, 2017

Habitot Children’s Museum is kicking off its 9th Annual Bay Area Preschool Teacher Awards program to recognize the Bay Area's outstanding preschool teachers and educators. Nominations of preschool teachers working in any of the nine Bay Area counties will be accepted between May 1st to June 20th. Ten teachers will be selected by an independent panel of judges and announced September 1, 2017. Each winner will receive: gift certificates for teaching supplies, Folkmanis puppets, class field trips, media recognition, and a award for display at a public ceremony on September 25, 2017.

Habitot Children's Museum, which is celebrating its 19th anniversary on Saturday, April 29th with free admission day sponsored by Mecahnics Bank, has a long history of partnering with local preschools, social service agencies, early childhood education groups in promoting arts, play and literacy and science in a child's earliest years.


About Habitot Children's Museum

Habitot’s mission is to help parents and caregivers raise curious, creative and confident children with hands-on exhibits and programs to focus exclusively on early childhood, ages 0-5.
