Habitot Children's Museum celebrates the 8th Annual Bay Area Preschool Teacher Awards, "Preschool Teachers Make A Difference" Award Ceremony and Back to School Celebration on September 26th, 2016 at 6:00pm.  

"Preschool teachers are rarely, if ever, recognized outside of our schools in this field. It means so much that Habitot not only created an award, but also plans a wonderful ceremony with fabulous goodies for us," said Ramee Serwanga, teacher at Room to Grow Preschool and past award nominee.

Ten winning teacher finalists were selected by a panel of Early Childhood Education professionals to represent preschools in communities throughout the nine Bay Area counties. Each award winner receives $100 gift certificate to Discount School Supplies, free passes to Habitot, a free class field trip to Habitot Children’s Museum, a Folkmanis puppet, and the recently published book, What Great Parents Do by Dr. Erica Resicher. Every nominated teacher also receives an award certificate and prize presented as the award ceremony on September 26th. Everyone wins something.
