Habitot Childrenís Museum Celebrates

Pride with Rainbow Arts Week

(Berkeley, CA) June 2, 2016

Rainbow flags are flying at Habitot! From June 20th - June 25th Habitot Childrenís Museum in downtown Berkeley is celebrating Rainbow Arts Week in celebration of Pride Weekend. Visit Habitotís Art Studio to explore every color of the rainbow with mixed media and multicolor themed art projects! Projects include making rainbow windsocks, melted crayon rainbow galaxies, rainbow fish collages, and more! In addition to rainbows galore through the museum, Habitot is offering a silent auction of rainbow-themed art donated by local artists in the museum to benefit the museumís programs for LGBTQ families. About Habitot Children's Museum

Habitotís mission is to help parents and caregivers raise curious, creative and confident children with hands-on exhibits and programs to focus exclusively on early childhood, ages 0-5. Habitot aims to reach all children with play via free admission days and in dedicated programs for children experiencing special needs, teen parents, formerly incarcerated mothers, children experiencing homelessness and children in the foster care system.

Annually since 2010, Habitot has been designated a "Top-Rated Nonprofit" by GreatNonprofits, a leading provider of reviews and ratings of nonprofit organizations. Habitot participates in the Association of Childrenís Museumís program, ďMuseumís For All,Ē which accepts EBT cards and ensures that all children may enjoy museums regardless of their income.
