8th Annual Bay Area Preschool Teacher Award
Nominations are Opening April 11th

Habitot Children’s Museum is kicking off its 8th Annual Bay Area Preschool Teacher Awards program to recognize the Bay Area's outstanding preschool teachers and educators. Nominations of preschool teachers working in any of the nine Bay Area counties will be accepted between April 11th and June 11. Ten teachers will be selected by an independent panel of judges and announced August 1, 2016. Each winner will receive: gift certificates for teaching supplies, Folkmanis puppets, class field trips, media recognition, and a award for display at a public ceremony on September 26, 2016. Habitot Children's Museum, which is celebrating its 18th anniversary on Saturday, April 16th with free admission, has a long history of partnering with local preschools, social service agencies, early childhood education groups in promoting arts, play and literacy and science in a child's earliest years.
