Holiday Train Display Is Back!
Starting December 7, come see Habitot's Holiday Train Display in the corridor window on your way to Habitot's main entrance.

Every Friday in the Art Studio have fun with train inspired art activities:

December 6: Decorate Houses for the Train Display. Group project.

December 13: Make Snowflakes. Some will be displayed in the train display!

December 20: Make Paper Train Engineer Hats and "Punch Tickets." Visit the train display on your way home.

December 27: Runaway Train Slide Painting.


 
Winter Playdate for Children with Special Needs
Monday, December 9
2:00 - 5:00

Join us at Habitot Children's Museum for a FREE afternoon of after-hours fun exclusively for children with special needs and their families. Come play with our hands-on exhibits, create works of art in our famous Art Studio, and enjoy learning, socialization and family bonding time in a safe and fun environment. Donations make these events possible.

Lost at the Zoo!

Gerry the Giraffe gets lost at the zoo. He tries to find a place to stay warm, but he doesn't fit anywhere! Will Gerry find a place where he fits in? Will new friends help him? Come find out!

Featuring puppeteer Toni “Tone” Mikulka founder of Giant Puppets Save the World.

Giant Gingerbread House Party
Saturday, December 14, 9:30-4:30pm
Be an elf and help decorate a taller-than-a-toddler gingerbread house with sprinkles and candy all day in the Art Studio. At the end of the day, the house will be delivered to the children at the The Children's Learning Center, part of the West Berkeley Homeless Shelter. Bring a bag of candy or decorations to share and receive a free adult admission pass for your next visit.

Thanks to volunteers from the Orinda Juniors women's club for baking all the gingerbread and building the house this year! The best elves ever!

Make noise-makers and hats in the Art Studio with a countdown and bubbles at noon.

Jamaroo Wednesday - December 4 only

Jamaroo Kids will be getting those wiggles out while helping little kids develop coordination, strength, balance, flexibility, and self-esteem. This will be Teacher Kelty's last session. Jamaroo resumes in January.


Pizza Fridays

11:30 -12:30
Easy peasy pizza lunch gives you more time to play! The pizza comes in kid-size slices that are $1.50 each. Parents are welcome to fill up on kid slices too.
